The best storage place for perfume is tucked in its original box and kept at room temperature perhaps in a sock or underwear drawer. Another way to make perfume scents last longer is to apply lotion before applying your perfume. A lotion having the same scent is an excellent way to make your perfume last longer. Moisture prolongs the effect of a perfume. Perfumes work best in environments that are moist. Thus if you have dry skin, you must put on some moisture to improve its moisture content. Choosing a moisturizing cream that has a similar smell as that of your perfume will help increase your perfume’s effect. Make sure to spray perfume in common pressure points like neck, wrists and back of your knees. These pressure points remain moist enough to give your perfume scent a long lasting effect.
